Lomi Lomi is a traditional massage from Hawaii. Renowned for its healing and supportive qualities this massage focuses on the importance of honouring and caring for the emotional as well as the physical body. In Hawaii lomi means "to soften" or "to make soft". It is also called  'The Dance of Massage' - the long sweeping continuous strokes under and over the body create their own rhythm and music - a lullaby, including deep peace, joy and relaxation...in this way we cultivate an easy kindness to ourselves which grants us the ability to flow with life rather than against it.  
Lomi Lomi also helps cleanse and detoxify the body; reduce anxiety and tension; relax and strengthen muscles and restore the body’s natural capacity for wholeness. It is particularly helpful in times of pain, stress, anxiety, shock and depression as well as times of joy, celebration and transition - for this massage is life affirming. An excellent way to support and nurture yourself or another.

What to expect

The average duration for a Lomi Lomi massage is 1.5hours.
Allow an extra 10 minute consultation before each massage.
The room is kept at warm to hot temperature.
Your body’s private areas are covered at all times with a sarong and/or towel, underwear is optional. 
We use high quality body oils that leave the skin feeling soft and supple.
Each massage ends by washing off the excess oil with warm herbal towels or by having a shower.

2 Hour Honouring Ceremony
Beginning with a cleansing ritual followed by a 1 hr traditional Double Lomi Lomi massage from two massage therapists (2 on 1 massage), then finishing with herbal tea.

Let your pure radiance shine with a head, neck and shoulder massage and divine relaxation facial. 

Nurturing Packages no oil  1 hour  
Begin with a peppermint foot soak and buffer, and then treat your back to a body polish brush, salt cream exfoliation and soothing moisturising body butter.            

Luxurious Pampering  1.5 hours  
Nurture yourself with a full body Lomi Lomi massage, tangerine, vanilla and sandalwood salt cream
back scrub and relaxation face mask, finishing with a hot towel cleansing. 

Deluxe Body Therapy Pampering Packages  2 hours
